Question:

Little really tiny red bugs?

Today I found the second REALLY tiny red bug in the bath room, almost at the exact same spot as the last one, on my bathtub, right below where the water turns on. I have no idea what type of bug this is, it just looks like a very small spec when it moves, like a spec of salt or pepper only red. I cant see if it has any of its features, how do I find out what this is and is it dangerous to me in anyway?

  1. Could be red spider mites that would have come off a plant either indoor or out. Not dangerous at all.

  2. Sounds like chiggers.

They're not dangerous, persay, but they do bite and the bites itch, like fleas.

I think they make bug bombs for them, but you're probably bringing them in on your clothes after you do yard work.

  3. clover mite. they are harmless
