why does it matter what order you watch them in??

The best one there by far is Silence of the Lambs, so I would watch that one last, because other wise you will just be disappointed in the rest. You pretty much have horror or comedy, so it depends what you are in the mood for, other than that it doesn't matter what order you watch them in, except for the sequels.
