Last week i got a betta, for the past 2days he has been suffering with white spot so we raised temp, and started treatment. Earlier on this evening we noticed 20 or more little white lice things crawling on the inside or the tank.

Does ne1 know what these are and if they r dangerous?

Betta is in a 20lt tank and in water taken from 90lt which has been running since feb with no probs.

  4. Hmmmm, sounds like fish lice but i am not entirely sure....

I found this website on the lice:

    http://pond-life.me.uk/fishhealth/argulu...

But if that is not correct your best bet is to either take the fish to the vets or fish shop, or if you dont want to stress the fish out, take a close up, but in focus shot of the lice, or even take one of the white things in a jar of the water , they should be able to help you!!

Hope i helped! And your fishie is ok
