LittleBigPlanet2 gets the Move and God of War: Origins gets teased
The long awaited patch which will finally allow players to use the PlayStation Move to control Sack Boy in his adventures is nearly upon the gaming community. According to the game’s developer, the patch had been under development for quite some time and
was constantly mentioned whenever Media Molecule, the game’s aforementioned developer, had anything to say about LittleBigPlanet 2.
In fact, even when the studio announced that they were ‘taking a break’ from LittleBigPlanet, they did so with a timely reminder that the break would begin after a PlayStation Move compatibility for the game had been set up and running.
There is a catch, however, as the Move compatibility seems fairly limited with the content already available in the game, with only the buttons serving the true purpose. The Downloadable Content Pack, which has been fittingly titled, Move Pack: Rise of the
Cakeling, shows plenty more functionality and use of the motion controlled peripheral’s capabilities.
While not many gamers would use the Move to control Sack Boy on his adventures, it will be a great tool for the thousands of level designers who, over the course of the past few years, have designed and uploaded over two million user created levels. The
Move Pack: Rise of the Cakeling is set to hit the PlayStation Network on September 13, and gamers can find out for themselves if slapping a fellow Sack Boy is any fun with Move or not.
We now move on from a cute, mischievous Sack doll, to his angry, violent, mass murdering and vengeful PlayStation cousin, Kratos.
(Spoiler Alert) It seems that despite impaling himself with the sword and falling off the mountain Athena, in God of War 3, Kratos is still around when it comes to life on the PlayStation 3 console as the God of War: Origins Collection packs finally received
the trailer treatment from Sony.
Teased via an impressive looking trailer, the High Definition remake of the two Sony PlayStation Portable titles of the God of War series are set to finally make their way onto the PlayStation 3.
Boasting High Definition graphics and a host of extra features and bonus content including 3D compatibility and trophies, the game will become accessible to gamers who did not own a PSP, as well as to gamers who just wanted to complete their God of War collection.
Both PSP titles, God of War: Ghost of Sparta and God of War: Chains of Athena will ship on the same Blu-Ray disc. Gamers can get their hands on Kratos and his devastating chained weapons on September 13, in United States and on September 16, in United Kingdom.
