Both teams had to consume their energies for 40 minutes to put final figures of 21-14, 15-21 and 22-20.
The victorious duo prevailed in opening and closing segments of the match to setup a pre quarter-final clash with spirited Malaysian pair Wee Gleen Tan-Mei Kuan Chow.
Meanwhile, the opposing team could live their moment of glory only in second set and crashed out of this international series.

Liu Yi and Ting Thng, who hold third spot in tournament ranking, started their campaign in perfect manner. They employed unbeatable strategy and established an unassailable lead immediately.
They did not lose this upper hand at any stage of the game and kept their rivals busy just in returning their masterly crafted strokes.
The Malaysian campaigners made every effort to come out of this deficit but they could not achieve their goal and knelt down after reading 14-21 score.
However, An Khang and Meng Yean did not surrendered tamely in following game as they registered their mark in a splendid manner.
They mounted pressure by gathering valuable points in a row and strengthened their grip with couple of uninterrupted rallies.
At half time, they were leading their competitors with a decent total of 11 and then capitalised this initial advantage in later part of the game.
Liu Yi and Ting Thng could not lift the burden of this deficit and surrendered after receiving a severe blow of 15-21.
This revised status turned third set into a nerve-racking tussle as both contenders were locked in a tense situation.
They chased each other all the way to game point situation and none of them could make difference until last shot was played.
The native shuttlers struck hard when it mattered and sealed their victory with final result of 22-20.
