I have used my year holiday working visa

I have a great great Auntie and Auncle in New Zealand

Dose this help me gain citisonship?

  1. No, you need to be in Australia a minimum of 2 years before you can apply for permanent residence which after fours years residence you can apply for citizenship

  3. I don't know but I think it's unlikely because they are so distant. If it was like your mother or grandmother then possibly.

  4. you are able to gain sponsorship from an aunt but would suggest you go onto the australian embassy website for more info.it wont help you gain citizenship for a while but the aunt would be able to sponsor you.
