The NedBank Golf Challenge is in progress at the Gary Player Golf Club, Sun City, South Africa.
Lee Westwood is in the lead, after first six holes. The Englishman picked up two birdies on the second and sixth hole, of the front nine. He holds a score of 14-under-par,
after posting 64 ,in the previous round. Ross Fisher is on the chase and is one–under ,after seven holes. The veteran managed a
superb birdie, on the third hole. The Spaniard is one-under, after dropping a shot at the par-4, 7th. Miguel Angel Jimenez seems to be in a fiery mood and that is affecting
his driving accuracy, negatively. One stroke below is the’ Big Easy’. The South African chose the front nine as his battle ground and has wrapped it, with a score of one-under. The winner of the
PGA Grand Slam bogeyed the first and the eight hole of the front, but countered it off with three birdies on second, fourth, and sixth.
Edoardo Molinari, Retief Goosen, and Anders Hanson are sharing the fifth spot of the leader board, which is carrying an aggregate purse of $5 million. Goosen and Hansen
have taken their turns on the front and made a score of 10-under, whereas, Molinari is seven-under-par, after seven holes of front. Goosen had a slow start, as he managed to earn two points, with the help of birdies at the first and the closing hole. He has
picked up another point on the par-5 tenth and is
proceeding towards the 13th tee.
Louis Oosthuizen gave a terrible performance at the front. He
picked up three bogeys against one birdie and proceeded towards the back, with a score of two-over. However, he is performing considerably well on the back, as he has helped a two successive birdies on the opening holes and one more at
the 13th.The worst scorecard of the day belongs to Padraig
Harrington. The Englishman, double- bogeyed the par-4th eight- hole alongside two more bogeys. The third round of the NedBank Golf Challenge is in progress ,in Sun City. For more details, refer to bettor.com.
