Twenty-three players have completed their round three, out of which Graeme McDowell is the man in limelight. The veteran managed to compile a score of 69 after two long days on Jumeirah Golf Estate.
Graeme Mc Dowell teed off from the front and bogeyed the fourth hole after playing safe in the opening. The US Open winner walked towards the seventh hole and picked up the first point on the par-5. Fans applauded, which pumped in some energy in the player
who has been on tour for fifth consecutive week. As a result of the motivation, G-Mac birdied the first hole of the back nine and wrapped the third round with two more birdies.
Graeme’s Ryder Cup Teammate, Padraig Harrington compiled an identical score. The winner of Iskandar Johor Open carved three back-to-back birdies in the opening holes of back and wrapped the round at two-under.
On the other hand, Retief Goosen carved the first eagle of the third round and earned appreciation from the spectators. Goosen had a terrible start of 78, but gradually came down to 66 and chances are that he will improve further.
Similar improvement has been witnessed in Edoardo Molinari’s scorecard. The Italian came down at 69 after picking up seven birdies against four bogeys. However, his younger sibling, Francesco Molinari is two-under after ten holes and chances are that he
will take a position in the top.
Ross Fisher, who led the leader board in the second round, is at par after the first eight holes. Meanwhile, Ian Poulter is at two-under after similar number of holes. The new driver seems to suit the Englishman and the course, which is stretched on 7600
yards.
