Live leaderboard of the Irish Open – Round 3
European Tour’s Irish Open has stepped into the third round with half of the field out of the tournament after missing the cut. The event, carrying a purse of €1,500,000, is taking place at the par-71 Killarney Golf & Fishing Club in Killarney, Ireland.
Here is a quick look at the live leaderboard.
Mark Tullo teed off from the front with a score of 2-under-par. The player from Chile has dropped two shots in the start. He is proceeding towards the fifth tee box to take his turn.
India’s Shiv Kapur has also chosen to tee off from the front. The veteran bogeyed the par-3, 3rd hole and followed it with a birdie. He started off on a low but is adapting to the conditions better as the day progresses.
Maarten Lafeber had a horrible day as he teed off from the front and dropped a shot just after he signed for a birdie. The worst was yet to come though, as the Frenchman encountered a double-bogey on the sixth hole and a quadruple bogey on the par-5, seventh.
In addition to that, he bogeyed the closing two holes and sealed the front with a 43. The player has picked up a birdie on his back nine and looks to improve his scorecard.
Steve Webster is two-over-par after 16 holes. The player posted two bogeys at the front and one at the back against two birdies to compile a score of one-over-par. He has two more holes to play.
Oliver Fisher has completed eleven holes and he is three-over-par after dropping three shots. The Englishman is finding it hard to find the fairways dude to increasing wind speed.
Anthony Wall has teed off with a brilliant start. The player fired three back-to-back birdies starting from the opening hole, a feat that has pushed him to the seventh place on the leaderboard.
Meanwhile, Graeme McDowell seems to be enjoying a great form finally. The Irishman has picked up a birdie on the opening hole and he is five-under-par after 38 holes.
