Yes but they never mention the thousands of losers who have spent a fortune on their phone bills do they?

That is how they make money. Say 20,000 people hanging on to premium rate numbers, I mean do the maths for yourself.

yes when they say a caller has won, they definitely have won. with all the scandal of phone votes and gambling addictions some of them now have to put on screen how likely it is that you are going to win. i remember watching one last year and along the bottom of the screen it said that in the last 15mins it had had 6000 calls. when you think it costs £1 per call they had generated £6000 in that time and the only prize they had given away was £500. that is a profit of £5500 in 15 mins. it makes you realise what a rip off they are.

some do, but some of the puzzles are so ridiculous that they were even caught cheating!.
