Live video stream on a screen?

Question

My church is having a concert and I would like to put the concert on the projector,live, while it is happening. I understand that I could just plug the camera into the projector. But the camera is gonna be at the very back and the screen at the front. There is also a computer available, plugged into the projector. Is there anyway I could do this by plugging in the camera into the computer and showing it on the projector?

ATEN VS 881 Video Switcher -w/ 8 VGA port inputs; allows Prodn switching among 8 vid signals from diff.devices (PC, Vcam, Dvdplayer, etc.); ONE video OUT; screen blanking; boosts signal  up to 215 feet; best ATEN switcher

ATEN VS 94A Splitter -w/ 4 VGA port outputs to 2 LCD projectors and 1 Prodn Monitor; boosts signals up to 210 feet

Cables: 3 short VGA cables- 3 PCs to switcher (male->female plugs); 2 ATEN special VGA cables (female VGA plug-switcher end & RCA (vcam end) + 2 long co-axial video cables RCA ends for 2 vcams; 1 short VGA cable- Switcher to Splitter; 2 long VGA cables- from Splitter to 2 Projectors (male->female plugs); 1 short VGA cable- Splitter to Prodn.Monitor (all male); 3 sound **cables-PC to mixer

Computers: 1- Prodn., 1- Edit, 1- blanking (logo/image?)

Video switching locates near Sound Mixing at the back for sound **connectn & easy prodn.sync.& avoid disturbance @ front. Audio-Video crew in black shirts

Why 3 Computers min.: 3 min.video of performers for a good intro; inSync w/song=>slideshow related to song, e.g.,church activity/recipients; Key phrases on Ministers' talk for impact ; record on camera but select proper timing for big screen. Finally, slideshow=>project benefits/ thanks to sponsors/ credits to organizers =>have to be shown @ ending … how’s that.

This set-up may be permanent & used during weekly services- Key phrases during lectur/ lyrics- to guide community during praise worship/ announcements- best recall w/sight & sound.

***Transition during image switch has few nano sec lapse, not so smooth, but acceptable. Addition of TV Prodn.Switcher- prof/smooth transition; allows superimposed text/images. Nice to have equipment- relatively expensive, but who knows, someone might offer free use, including 'crew'.
