Top Honcho’s black son slipped into the 2012 season on 14th January in a 525 yards race at Shelbourne Park and scored second. The winner, Piercestown Fire, settled the track distance in 29.08 seconds and won by the margin of a length.
The two-year-old black hound then missed the next two races, to a third and then a fifth position.
The two-year-old black son out of b***h, Olympic Show, was drilled over 328 yards on 26th April, 2012. The P. Hennessy trained raced through the distance in 16.38 seconds.
His first success of the season was in a 525 yards race on 18th May, 2012. He ran on to rest the race in 29.59 seconds and had the runner-up, Locnamon Angel, adrift by just a short head difference.
The next win for the black hound came in on 15th June, 2012. After breaking from the first gate, the two-year-old was fast to race away and then led for the remaining track distance getting the race under his belt in 28.80 seconds.
Liveanddangerous won by the margin of two lengths.
After striking the back-to-back, one more win in row would entitle the winner of a hat-trick. That is exactly what happened.
On 22nd June, 2012, Liveanddangerous began the 525 yards race from the third gate and was fast to race away, concluding the race in 28.86 seconds with the runner-up, Allen Master, closing in after leaping through the three lengths gap.
Almost going carefree after achieving the hat-trick, the two-year-old missed the very next race to a fifth position.
His last success was in the Sales@Townviewfoods.Co.UK Open 525 Semi-Final on 7th July, 2012 at the Shelbourne Park over 525 yards. He timed the track distance in 28.48 seconds and defeated the runner-up, Airforce Harlem, by 1 ½ lengths.
The 7 to 4 entry has all the chances of claiming the race tonight if he keeps up with the performance.
