Livecam for planes?

is there any livecam mounted on the ti of the front view of any jumbo commercial plane? I know there is live cam for truckies where uc an see him driving.. but what about big planes not military lanes but commercial planes going around the world where the cam is viwable live as we speak and see it land and take off and all that?

I know great big ships allready have a mounted 24/7 cam and can see it moving,,

but what about big planes live and where to fine them? since google is pointless to help me out.

  1. I think Mooki is looking for a "live feed" that you can dial into on the Net.

    I haven't heard of it, but it certainly sounds like a cool idea - why not suggest it to Richard Branson? He's always looking for stunts to publicise Virgin Air...


  2. Executive jets have had live cams for years mounted on the glare shield, nose wheel, etc. The exec 727 that I'm sitting in here has one in the tail looking forward so the passengers can watch the take off and landing. They love it. Just takes money.

  3. I believe the old Concordes had such cams.  Also the new supersonic designs call for cams because there will be no windows as the air friction in the high speed will melt any glass even tempered.

  4. There are ones mounted on to a few Airbus, for example the A340-600 and A380. However, theres no live link to the internet on them, it's just for the entertainment of the passengers on board.

    I think some airports have live webcam feeds to the internet, but not aircraft.
