I have Wilson's Disease and most likely my liver is failing. But I reading on WebMd and it said that sexual problems could occur with liver failure. And I was wondering if those problems would go away with getting a transplant. I mean I'm still young but I want to know this before I start to plan a family or anything.

  1. You have  genetic disorder. With a transplant you will still have willsons, that will not go way since it is a problem with your genes, but the problems of liver failure will go away.

EDIT: Since answering your question the other day, I've done some research on this little known disorder, and there are two support groups that you can contact to get concise information on what you should be doing to keep your body almost copper free...Wilson disease support groups can be found at www.wilsonsdisease.org  and www.geneticalliance.org.  I hope this helps. And I hope you find a solution that will keep you healthy.
