Liver transplant and asprin?

Question

Does anyone know why liver transplants are banned from taking asprin? I haven't been able to find a clear-cut answer anywhere.

I thought they had most liver transplant pts on low-dose aspirin for about a year after surgery to prevent clotting as a complication. I have heard it increases the risk of a GI bleed, and am not sure if this is the standard anymore or not...
