The Liverpool winger enjoyed his side’s ruthlessness in front of the Kop in the second half and hopes the club’s form continues onto Wembley.
The Reds may be inconsistent in the Barclays Premier League yet at the same time they have been in dominating form in the domestic cup competitions.

Speaking about the match the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international said, “It was a great game to play in, especially the second half, and it was nice to get a few goals in front of the Kop.”
He continued, “The first half was a little bit tricky when they got the equaliser and made it hard for us, but the manager told us at half-time to keep doing what we were doing and the goals would come.”
Liverpool took the lead through a Martin Skrtel header early on in the first half, only to see the lead cancelled out a few minutes later by a well place free-kick by Lua Lua.

Downing continued, “I thought our second-half performance was really good. I really enjoyed it out there.”

“Me and Jose could see we were getting a fair bit of space and the manager told us to try and exploit this space, and I thought on both sides we did well. That’s where most of the goals came from.”
