Liverpool's boss Kenny Dalglish has praised Luis Suarez on the impact he has made on the team after arriving from Ajax Amsterdam in the January transfer window. He claimed that the striker has been brilliant right from his first match and that the Uruguayan
has played a crucial part in the club’s resurgence off late.
Suarez joined http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in a £22.8 million move in the January transfer window this year, signing a five and a half-year deal.
Dalglish applauded the striker’s attacking mentality and claimed that the forward is a constant threat when he plays upfront. He added that Suarez has provided the team with a new attacking flare and there is a new dimension to the side after his inclusion.
The Scot revealed that the attacker deserves all the praise and appreciation as he has been working very hard in training. He stated that all the hard-work shows on the field when he plays in a Liverpool shirt.
“You don't get any rest if he is on the pitch and he is anywhere near you. He does a fantastic job at that. He closes people down and sets the tempo for everyone else. He's going to get a lot of plaudits for his goals and rightly so, but he does an awful
lot of work to earn those goals,” the manager was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Blackburn Rovers' boss admitted that Suarez truly deserved the goal against Newcastle United over the weekend and insisted that it was the reward of some brilliant display throughout the match. He also acknowledged the Uruguayan’s ability to score
goals and claimed he will be bigger next season.
“I think that’s what they call front-running. He’s always getting in there, and he’s always a threat. It fell kindly for him. But he put it away well. It’s reward for the hard work he’s put in,” he concluded.
Luis Suarez has scored three goals for Liverpool in the 10 appearances made and has his name on six assists so far.
