Liverpool's manager Kenny Dalglish urges club owners to continue the spending spree to win trophies: EPL News
Liverpool's manager, Kenny Dalglish, has urged the club owners to continue the spending spree in summer transfer window of 2011. Dalglish believes that the squad is still in the process of overhaul and he still needs a few quality signings.
Liverpool bought Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez in the January transfer window in 2011 for a combined fee of approximately 58 million pounds. However, the purchase of these players was almost totally financed by the sale of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Babel-c31971.
The 60-year-old believes that he needs to bring in 2 to 3 new players to make a squad capable of winning trophies. However, he insisted that he will continue to give the youngsters a fair opportunity like he has done this season. Dalglish has given several
of his youth graduates a taste of first team football this season and most of them have grasped the opportunity with both hands.
The Scot believes that the youth is very important to the club’s future and he understands how to nurture them.
Talking to the reporters Dalglish said, "Every summer is important for the club. The better the business, the more successful the club is going to be. If you do good business, you've more chance of being successful. That just doesn't mean buying players
and letting players go, it's about developing what else you have. This summer is going to be very important, not just for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 Football Club, but every football club. And the better decisions you make the better business you do, the better chance you
have of setting yourself up for next season."

straight into the first team. He wants them to play alongside senior players to gain experience and overcome weaknesses in their game.
Liverpool have not won a silverware for almost five years now and Dalglish is desperate to bring back success to the club.
