    cruiseliners are docking again

THE PARADISE PROJECT the BIGGEST shopping / development area.

loads on great concerts (like the one tonight)

and Good Press which is nice to see instead of the Bad press liverpool has been getting over the years

    I love liverpool

  2. It has been a great success thus far and will continue to be a success, I'm sure, not just for this year but for many years to come.

People have complained about the amount of building work still going on but the important thing to remember is that Capital of Culture year isn't just a matter of tarting the place up just for the year and that's that; it's an ongoing thing involving investment and regeneration - this year is just the start!

If you get the chance, pay a visit - you won't be disappointed!

  3. Steve, Happy Trucker, couldn't agree more with your posts.  I think some people don't like change so moan about a ruined heritage etc. but it's all for the best, things have to move with the times along with retaining their historic identity which I believe Liverpool is doing.

I feel it's been a success so far, despite the controversy some people, journalists etc. still like to create around it.  This past week has been the biggest week so far in the culture calendar with the streets ahead festival, opening of the new Liverpool One, Gustav Klimt exhibition and the Liverpool Sound concert and I can't describe what a buzz there has been in the city, I'm so proud to be a part of it.

Those who still insist on moaning about COC and those who still like to stereotype Liverpool really are missing out and should just enjoy it as it'll never happen again.

  4. I love Liverpool, the Beatles and the Mersey sound,I grew up in this era,but unfortunately like many other places there are a the few who have to ruin the image of there home town, why can't we be proud of our heritage ?

Some people seem to slip their backgrounds on like a coat when it suits them to be either scouse, Yorkshire, Geordie or whatever!

Be proud of who you are and never use it as an excuse ever !!!

  5. It has been a big success especially the Liverpool One shops and when phase 2 grand opening on the 29th September it will be so fantastic!!!!!!!!

  6. Well, I think so! There have been many concerts i've heard. I really want to go!!! =] =[

  7. Well I Love Liverpool and I don't even live there.
