of Barclay and McKenna to the current Kenny Dalglish, there have been several managers who have honored the English club with their brilliant managerial skills.

10. Roy Evans
Roy Evans is a former football player and football manager from Bootle, Lancashire, England. Born on 4 October 1948, Roy started his football career as a defender. He played for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 FC from 1965 to 1974, making a total of nine appearances with zero
goals. In 1973, Evans went on to play for Philadelphia Atoms on loan, where he made 19 appearances with a score of 2 goals.
Evans was a gifted player, who eventually rose through the ranks to become the coach and finally the team manager. On 28 January 1994, it was announced that Souness had quit as a Liverpool manager, thereby allowing Evans to take over the managerial post.
What Evans got was actually a side plunged into the darkness of apprehension and uncertainty, since the departure of Kenny Dalglish. The English manager improved the quality of play at the Red’s side by signing some brilliant footballers. He transformed the
players by polishing them with his marvelous coaching skills and brought out their hidden talents.
The 62 year old year old won many managerial honours with the Reds, including the 1994-‘95 Football League Cup and the 1995-‘96 Runner-up FA Cup.
9. W. E. Barclay and John McKenna
William E. Barclay and McKenna were the first managers of Liverpool FC after the club was established. Barclay was responsible for the organizational sector of the club, while McKenna held coaching duties. W. E. Barclay was one of the people who remained

John McKenna was a successful businessman from County Monaghan, Ireland. The brilliant coach was a major driving force in pushing the club towards its early successes and global recognition. He used his contacts to hire several footballers from Glasgow,
namely Malcolm McVean, Hugh McQueen, James McBride, John McCartney, and Joe McQue. McKenna’s request to include Liverpool in the Football League was rejected by FA at first. He did not lose hope and led the Reds to Lancashire League instead. After a much prosperous
season, Liverpool eventually became a part of the Football League.
