5. Joe Fagan
Joe Fagan, born March 12, 1921 was an English football player and a football manager from Liverpool, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749. He was best known for his time with the Liverpool club as a manager, from 1983 to 1985. Fagan entered the football grounds as a defender, serving
many prestigious clubs like Manchester City, Nelson and Bradford Park Avenue during the 1930s and 1950s. In 1951, the Englishman began his managerial career with Nelson side.
Fagan was signed by Liverpool Football Club in 1983. Although his stint with the English side lasted for only two years, he managed to guide the team with great success, winning the treble of English League, League Cup and the European Cup of 1984. Fagan
retired just hours before the 1985 European Cup final. It is widely believed that had Fagan not retired at that critical juncture, Liverpool would have won their fifth European Cup.
4. Tom Watson

He was signed for Sunderland in 1888, where he remained for eight solid years. In 1896, Watson chose to move on and
give his valuable managerial services to the English Premier League club, Liverpool. During his 19 years spell with the Reds, Watson enjoyed great success and became to be known as one of the finest managers of Anfield.
He was brought to the Red’s club by John McKenna, after acquiring much fame at Sunderland. Watson led the English side to victory a myriad number of times. He paved the way for Liverpool to their first FA Cup Final in 1914, which they lost to Burnley F.C.
His honours include 1901 and 1906 First Division and 1905 Second Division. The Englishman retired in 1915 and died soon after his relinquishment from the post.
3. Kenny Dalglish
Kenneth Mathieson Kenny Dalglish is a retired Scottish football player and a football manager. He is currently serving the Premier League club, Liverpool F.C as a care-taker manager. As a footballer, Dalglish played for Celtic, Scottish National Football
