  1. Didn't they just buy Robbie Keane....? Why would they go for Owen??

  2. WHY WOULD LIVERPOOL WANT A WASH UP STRIKER

  3. waste of money. their is no place for him. actually given some of the substitutions today there might be. please be nothing more then rumours

  4. Doesn't make any sense, they just spent 20 million on Keane.  Another smallish striker would be nonsense.

  5. nope

  6. I have seen that it maybe true that Torres wants off the sinking ship and even Newcastle looks an inviting place. Babble may also be leaving with Hughes an admirer. owen may inspire some passion back in the Kop. because the the only Kop at anfield is Kop out. Keane looks a waste of money why did they not get Barry.

  7. dont know just wait to see what happens

  8. Oh god, ya that sounds about right, Rafa tryin to win over the fans. Owen hasn't played 10 full games in a row in 5 years(guess)!!

  9. Unlikely, LFC paid 20mil for Keane, and Keegan wouldn't let Owen go!

  10. He's not in his prime anymore, he'll get benched at Liverpool. Besides we don't want someone who will be injured most of the season.

  11. Not heard anything like that. Lots of clubs need strikers - do you see Owen playing every week for Liverpool with Keane or Torres on the bench?!

  12. He'll never be back!

  13. Weren't you the one who said there were 'rumours' about Liverpool signing Quaresmo?.I think you're full of Bull.

  14. liverpool are just completing the transfer of the espanyol winger albert riera, and they have no need for another striker, as many people have sed they have torres and just bought keane, so i very seriously doubt owen will be coming back

  15. Where did u get that and who are we swaping him 4 Voronin come on he ain't played 10 consecertive games in like 5 years since he left us and why would he come back we don't need him and he won't fit i wouldn't mind him comming back but where would he fit in or team got Torres and keane as main strikers then with kuyt ngog and if were desperate voronin but i heard newcastle were willing 2 sell him 4 2mill just so he don't go on a free

  16. If they're going to wast time buying strikers who are well past there prime and no use to anyone why didn't they sign Shevchenko?

  17. Whats the point? he won't get played...he's a sucker for injury the poor soul..he watches more matches than plays and he's on £103 grand a week..where's the logic in that?

  18. Don't think its true. They just splashed 20 million for Robbie and they might not want to splash another 20 million for another top striker as they already have 2 good ones.

  19. Owen's contract runs out this year, but Newcastle are actually giving him a contract extension.

  20. Isn't Owen on the verge of signing a new contract worth like £120,000 a week or something? He may have even already signed, I'm not sure.

There is talk now of Owen moving to Everton for about £6 million.

  21. Liverpool wont buy and Keegan wont sell so its very doubtful

  22. newcastle have offered him a new and improved contract............

  23. If that happens then Kevin Keegan won't be far behind him
