Hello

I get a plane which land at liverpool Airport. I need to reach Leeds. So, how could I do.

Is there a train that connects Liverpool to Leeds. What is the name of the Station I should go to. Should I book my train ticket in Advance or not? Or can I just by it, at the Station the day I arrive at Liverpool?

  1. check it on line

  2. ok there are two options

    1. The  nearest train station to liverpool airport is liverpool south parkway however you will have to catch a bus from the airport to the station then from there you would catch a train to warrington central and then from there to Leeds

2 a bus service also runs from the airport to liverpool lime street where you can either change at manchester picadiily or they run direct trains to leeds

Have put some useful links in below and i am also railway staff

  3. Its funny rail staff on Answers are always friendly polite and helpful, why cannot they be like that when they are at work?

  4. Catch the Airlink 500 service into Liverpool and alight at Lime Street Station the fare is £2.

Trains operated by Transpennine Express depart from Lime St at xx22 and take 1h 47m for the direct journey (no changes).

You can purchase your ticket at Lime Street on the day for £20.90.

  5. i think there is a direct service to leeds from liverpool via manchester you catch it at liverpool lime street as far as i know leeds station is just called leeds. if there isnt a direct service you will have to change at manchester

  6. Be warned.......the train is often late due to having its wheels nicked at Liverpool station.
