The Merseyside club, Liverpool have once again reiterated their interest in signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eljero-Elia-c12318 from Hamburg. With his talismanic form, the Dutchman has impressed many football experts and caught the eye of major footballing powerhouses in the past couple
of seasons.
Reports have confirmed both clubs, Liverpool and Hamburg have been in talks for the youngster for a while now, however no final conclusion has yet been reached. News from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 has linked Elia with an away move but the player has not committed himself
to a new club.
The English and German outfit have failed to come up with conclusive comments on their negotiations for Elia, however, with Liverpool looking to bring a new face to Anfield, especially one that has the versatility to play on different forward positions,
the summer transfer might see the attacking midfielder making a switch from Bundesliga to the English Premier League.
Sources have revealed Hamburg has also engaged in talks with a couple of other clubs regarding Elia’s transfer but in the end they are expected to respect Elia’s choice for a new club.
Elia will of course be looking to join a club with whom he has a good chance of winning trophies and titles. Liverpool have been unable to present their top notch performances for the past season-and-a-half, but with the arrival of Liverpool’s Scottish legend
Kenny Dalglish, they have reignited the Reds’ well known ferocious spirit on all fronts.
As the new manager of Liverpool, Dalglish has already brought a couple of good names to the house of Kop. During the winter transfer window he signed Ajax’s Uruguayan sensation Luis Suarez and the new English striker Andy Carroll from Newcastle United.
Elia will have a lot to choose from this summer as clubs like Arsenal, Aston Villa, Sevilla, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Manchester City have shown interest in signing him. Though Hamburg will be looking for the best offer, they will also be respecting Elia’s will as the
Dutchman has provided them with valuable services over the past couple of seasons.
Elia came to fame during the 2007-2009 season while playing for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 and scored on two instances.
Liverpool are also planning to sign the Argentine International http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sylvain-Marveaux-c34432. Talks on both fronts have been at go for some time now. Rumour has it that both players will be offered pre-contracts before
the start of summers.
