Is that a surprise to Liverpool fans when they were at 9/2 last August?

This doesn`t really mirror your optimism does it?

  1. 7-1 is very good odds. Whatever happens we are a top 4 club and capable of winning the title. However I don't think that this is our year.

  2. Not bad odds with the forward line they will have.

  3. They could be 700/1 and I still wouldn't back them.

As far as I'm concerned Liverpool are still a country mile behind Man Utd and Chelsea and have absolutely no chance of winning the prem.

I grew up watching great Liverpool teams, but that was over 2 decades ago and despite their great history, Liverpool have to finally realise that winning the title is not a right, but a privelage that has to be earned!

  4. we need one good player to make our club complete. we need silva and not barry! robbie keane is overpaid. and he is old. we could of brought a decent striker for half that amount maybe huntelaar or even david villa for £30million.

  5. face it liverpool are c**p

  6. I'm an expert at odds and I give them 2/1

the only reason for the 2 instead of 1 being, I don't know which refs Ferguson has approached yet

  7. They'll be 14/1 this time next year.

  8. Might as well be 700/1

  9. I wouldn't mind seeing them beat Man U 7 to 1.

  10. who cares what the odds are if we get a winger we are perfectly capable of winning the league YNWA

  11. it doesnt surprise me. im a season ticket holder of 20 years and i know we arent going to win it.

  12. 7/1 you are getting touched, they are 10/1 at least and will drift out as the seasom unfolds..7/1 lol

  13. 7/1 seems reasonable to me. I doubt if we will win it this year, I would be happy if Liverpool stay in the title race for most of the season and finish three or four points behind the top spot. That will leave well placed for a serious assault on the title in 2009/10.

  14. They are only 7/1 because 1980's glory hunters now have cash to burn. 12/1 would be fairer with Arsenal at 14/1.

I can't see beyond Chels and Man Utd and the former represents better value for money.

  15. being a gambler i think the bet is liverpool +9 points 15/1 to win the league.

7/1 sounds generous but the draw has exactly been kind to them, and benitez will dabble again, keane is by no stretch of the immagination the messiah and it would appear that most fans have simply forgot about injuries.

  16. I'll leave my comments to the chosen 11

  17. unless yer chelsea or man u then you can just buy the title
