Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers hopeful of top-four finish – Football news
Liverpool FC manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that his side has a very good chance of finishing in the top-four next season.

Rodgers admitted that the team is better placed than last season. He admitted that with a few players coming in this summer, the side will be stronger than the previous campaign. He is confident that the team will play better next season as the young players
have gained good experience in the current campaign.
“There's a pressure that comes with it and I believe we're in a much better place to challenge now. I think we can do it - I believe we have built a real good base this year. Of course, it will be a tough ask because, as we improve, other clubs will have
masses more money to do so as well,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the former Swansea City manager is impressed with how the team performed in the previous campaign. He admitted that the players had improved and there were more goals scored. The Reds scored an impressive 71 league goals last season in
comparison to 47 in the previous one.

“What we showed last season was promise. There were moments of disappointment and moments of delight, but when I look at the reality of it we scored 47 goals the year before and this time got 71 - and we hope to add to that amount,” he concluded.
