Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish confirms transfer activity trouble
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809’s manager Kenny Dalglish addressed the press after his team’s scrappy 1-0 win over Fulham at Anfield on Wednesday and confirmed that the club is facing some transfer difficulty in the January transfer window. The current
transfer window is set to come to a close on the 1st of February but Liverpool will be anxious to do some business before the transfer window closes down.
It has been a tough season already for Liverpool, a season which has seen management changes as well as administrative changes at the club. Recently, the Merseyside club parted ways with Roy Hodgson and appointed Kenny Dalglish
as their first team manager. Hodgson was appointed as the club’s manager in the summer of 2010 but his unsatisfactory performance led to his dismissal from the club.
Liverpool have been linked with two prominent targets in the January transfer window thus far, the first one being Luis Suarez from Ajax and the second being Charlie Adam from Blackpool. Luis Suarez played a dominant role in Uruguay’s
progress to the semi-finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He has been instrumental for Ajax as well as he has been made the club captain by Ajax coach Frank de Boer. On the other hand, Charlie Adams has cemented his case as a skilful midfield playmaker at Blackpool
where he helped the underdogs gain promotion to the English Premier League last season after making his move to the Seasiders from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314.
Liverpool can benefit from the arrival of both the players but the negotiations between all the stake holders at the moment are at a stalemate. Liverpool have thus far failed to match up to the evaluation of both the players in
purely financial terms and thus Ajax and Blackpool are unwilling to part ways with their respective starlets. After his team’s narrow one-goal win over Fulham on Wednesday night, Kenny Dalglish said, "The finance is there. Everything is in place but it's difficult
to get players out of other clubs at this time. If we do not get anyone it is not for the want of trying."
Liverpool have already parted ways with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Babel-c31971 in an attempt to free up more transfer funds as the Dutch winger’s switch to the German club side Hoffenheim was confirmed over the past weekend. Dalglish concluded his interview
by remarking on Liverpool’s win over Fulham as he stated, "Fulham will be feeling a little hard done by because they will think they deserved something from the game. But there have been many games when we thought we deserved more from it than we got.”
