Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish hails Jamie Carragher – English Premier League news

Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish, has hailed defender Jamie Carragher for his commitment and determination towards the club. The Scot stated that the centre-back has many more years left in him and will surely add on to that brilliant tally of appearances
for the club.

Dalglish praised Carragher on reaching the milestone and hoped that the defender could serve the club for some more years. The manager also acknowledged former teammate Ian Callaghan and labelled the former midfielder as a legend.
"It is a great accolade for him to be the second in the table for most appearances as a Liverpool player. He has been here a while and hopefully he will be here for a lot longer. Cally [Callaghan] is iconic here not just because of the number of games he
played but for the service he gave to the club and the success he brought with him,” he was quoted as saying.
The tactician admitted that Carragher might not be able to reach the milestone set by Callaghan but stated that the defender has been a great servant for the club in the past and said the he deserves all the plaudits.
