Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has faith in Andy Carroll abilities – English Premier League update
The Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has shown his faith in Andy Carroll’s abilities on the pitch by claiming he is the one who will take Liverpool to their desired destination in the English Premier League. The record £35 million signing, Andy Carroll came
to Anfield on the last day of January transfer window season by completing a successful transfer from Newcastle United.
Kenny Dalglish insists that fitness is the one pre-requisite which, if Carroll maintains, will make him a stupendous player. The 60-year-old commented “He is a massive player. He is a great attribute for us but he is only a great attribute when he is fit.”
The 22-year-old has been sitting on the sideline benches since 28th January due to a thigh injury but did make his all awaited debut for Liverpool last Sunday in a splendid 3-1 victory over the league leaders Manchester United. Although, he came
as a substitute in the match against Alex Ferguson’s team, critics believe his short stint in that match could prove to be an important factor for his upcoming matches, especially in the Liverpool’s next encounter against the Portuguese club SC Braga, where
he could also make a first-team start depending upon his fitness level.
The Merseyside boss further added, “Everyone wants to play and he has been as desperate as us to get out there. But there is no point him being out that length of time and then us being irresponsible and throwing him in because it is a sentimental decision”.
Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll came to Anfield at a time when Liverpool fans lost their favourite, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 for a massive £50 million pounds. Luis Suarez has already proved his worth by giving some
resounding performances for his team and it seems that it’s time for Carroll to make some serious inroads.
Andy Carroll’s role in the approaching game against Braga has become more important because Luis Suarez would be unavailable for the match as he is ineligible to play in any Europa League matches because he has already played this year for Europa club, Ajax.

Liverpool, after taking a shocker of a start to their English Premier League campaign under their former coach Roy Hodgson, has seen a remarkable turnaround under the flamboyant Kenny Dalglish. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, have found the right rhythm with Dalglish as their
sixth position in the Premier League table justifies Kenny Dalglish’s impact. Although, winning a Premier League title this time around looks a distant dream, Kenny Dalglish wants Merseyside to end up in the top four teams which would help them go through
to the next season’s UEFA Champions League qualifying round.
