Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish praises his side's performance after victory over Manchester City
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has heaped praise on his players after the Reds comprehensively defeated Manchester City 3-0 at Anfield on Monday night. Andy Carroll scored his first goals for Liverpool as the Merseysiders secured all three points.
It was a crucial clash for both sides as Liverpool look to finish fifth in the Barclays Premier League table in order to qualify for the UEFA Europa League next season. Meanwhile, Manchester City needed to win in order to cement their place in the top four

Dalglish was impressed by his team’s performance after a poor showing against West Bromwich Albion last week. He said that the game was a very enjoyable one and it was one of the club’s best performances of the season.
