Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish, has hailed archrivals, Manchester United’s, extraordinary achievement of almost winning a record 19th Barclays Premier League title and asserted that the Anfield club should follow the footsteps of United in order to be successful in English football.
Manchester United defeated http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in a title deciding fixture at Old Trafford last weekend and now they need only one point from their last two games to be crowned as Premier League champions for the record 19th time - overhauling Liverpool’s record of 18 League titles.
Kenny Dalglish congratulated Manchester United for their extraordinary achievement and claimed that his team must meet the standards set by United in order to be crowned Champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 once again.
Kenny Dalglish claimed that he was very impressed by the quality shown by Manchester United players throughout the season and stated Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s men are deserved Barclays Premier League Champions.
Kenny Dalglish told the reporters, “Anybody that wins the title is normally the best team in the league and I don't think Manchester United are any different from that. Although they might be your rivals and your competitors, it doesn't mean to say that you're disrespectful. They set the standards that we've got to get to and we'll do our best to get there”.
Since Kenny’s arrival at Liverpool in January, after Roy Hodgson marked the worst start at Merseyside club for the first time in 57 years, the Reds looked like a rejuvenated side.
Liverpool has stormed up the charts and is most likely to finish fifth in the Barclays Premier League standings ahead of last year’s Champions League qualifiers, Tottenham Hotspur.
However, Liverpool have no chance of making through to the Champions League but by looking at their current form it can be said that Kenny Dalglish’s men would surely mount a title challenge next season.
