Liverpool chairman, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tom-c35214 Werner revealed that he was looking forward to the Reds upcoming friendly fixtures during their North American tour, and let out his excitement to see the team perform under their new manager, Brendan Rodgers.
The Merseyside team are currently attending training sessions in Boston, ahead of their first tour game against Toronto on the 21st of July. They will play two more games during their seven day sojourn against AS Roma on 25th and Tottenham
Hotspur on the 28th.
Their second fixture is scheduled to be played at the Fenway Park, which will mark the 100th anniversary of the stadium owned by the Liverpool’s parent company, Fenway Sports Group.
With the Reds 2012/13 campaign set to kick off on the 18th of August, Werner admitted that he was enthusiastic about watching his team play under their new manager, and believed that the tour will provide an opportunity for all the Liverpool fans
in America to get to see their star players, up close and personal.

Having overseen scores of changes in the set up since the culmination of their disastrous season, the Liverpool chairman expressed his satisfaction over Rodgers work so far, terming him a ‘thoughtful’ manager.
The Northern Irishman signed the striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 last week and is believed to be closing in on the Fulham attacker, Clint Dempsey.
