Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes Andy Carroll could become a world-class striker
Liverpool centre back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jamie-Carragher-c17728 believes that the club’s new singing Andy Carroll has all the attributes to become one of the greatest strikers in the history of football.
Jamie Carragher told Liverpool’s official website, “Andy has got all the attributes you need to be a top centre forward. I can't advise him how to do that, but if I can help him a little bit along the way, along with the coaching staff and the manager and
all the other players at the club, then I will.”
“Andy has done fantastically well since he has come here. Now he is in the England squad, I think he can establish himself as the country's number nine for the next decade. We will be looking for him to do that for Liverpool,” added the English defender.

Carroll, who earned his first cap for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 national team few days ago, opened his account in a Liverpool shirt in their victory over Manchester City. The former Newcastle United player scored a brace to mark a dominating victory over fourth placed
City at Anfield.
It was the second occasion that Liverpool’s both new signings Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll started the match. The Reds got off to a very strong start and after the strings of attack on Manchester City’s goal, the moment came when in the 13th minute
Carroll scored his first ever goal for Liverpool. It was a spectacular strike from the English attacker, who gave the keeper no chance whatsoever to stop the shot, as he muscled the ball from well outside of the penalty box to the bottom corner.
Carroll’s second goal came in the second half, when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-Meireles-c30678 played an accurate cross from the left flank towards the on-rushing English striker. The 22-year-old took full advantage of his height and headed the ball in the top corner.
Andy Carroll now has two goals to his name out of four appearances for Liverpool.
