The Reds Slovakian defender claims that he has “a good understanding” with all the centre backs at the Merseyside club.

The Slovakian commented on how the understanding between the two players extended to matters off the pitch as well.
“The understanding between us is working. Away from the pitch he’s a nice guy too. We have things in common, such as tattoo’s and cars.”
He continued, “We both have an interest in them and chat about them.”
Skrtel also added how the understanding was not limited to just Agger but how he seemed to click with every other centre back at the club.
“I don’t think it’s just with Daniel, I think I have a good understanding with Carra (Carragher) and Seba (Coates) too. They are all top quality players.
It doesn’t matter who starts, I think the manager had four good centre-backs to choose from.”
The defender also commented on how, despite being regularly selected to start, there was intense competition for places in the squad.
