Trophies have been something that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 squads of yester years were known for winning on a regular basis. Yet, ever since Rafael Benitez led the Reds to a FA Cup win in 2006, the side have not been able to add to their trophy cabinet.
However, the return of Liverpool legend, Kenny Dalglish, has buoyed spirits at the club and although the Merseyside club have been struggling to get into the top four in the Barclays Premier League, they have been in fine form in both of the domestic club competitions.
Dalglish, in his first full season in charge, has already helped the side secure a return to Wembley where they will face off against Championship opposition, Cardiff City, for the final of the Carling Cup.
That particular match will take place on the 26th of February, yet the side’s immediate attention will be on the fifth round FA Cup match against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brighton-c38685. This will be the second time this season that the two sides will meet on the football pitch with Liverpool running out 2-1 winners.

He continued, “It’s got such a tradition and I think the FA Cup is fantastic.”
The Liverpool player also admitted that he would love to win the competition this year, seeing how they are so close to the quarter-finals.
“For a young player like myself it’s fantastic to play in and we would love to go all the way in the competition this year.”
Kelly still has fond memories of watching Liverpool win the prestigious competition over the years, though on those occasions the player was more of a supporter as he cheered on his heroes while he sat at home.
“I remember watching Liverpool win the FA Cup on the television and we would love to win it again.”
