Martin Skrtel has singled out the Welsh winger for praise and claims that Bellamy’s efforts on the training pitch have inspired him to keep on improving.

He said, “That is for other people to say, but I am very happy. For the last few months I have been pleased with my performances.”

“You have to have that attitude. I am 27 now and I think I can still improve. Experience has a lot to do with it. As you get older you learn how to deal with success and failure.”
Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish, will be hoping that Skrtel can maintain his superb form between now and the end of the season as the club still have the FA Cup and the fourth spot in the Premier League to contest.
