Liverpool face competition for their summer targets: Charlie Adam and Connor Wickham

Liverpool are now reportedly facing competition from two other English Premier League sides for the signature of 25-year-old Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Scotland-c756 international was originally linked with a move to Anfield after the Reds boss Kenny Dalglish declared interest in the midfielder.
However, the player revealed he had recently received interest from two other Premier League sides which was considering.
The other two sides are rumoured to be English Premier League giants Manchester United and fifth place Tottenham Hotspur.

Charlie Adam signed a permanent contract with Blackpool in the 2009-2010 season for a fee of £500,000 after being with the club on loan move.
After signing with the club on a more permanent basis, Adam went on to score 19 goals in 49 appearances for Blackpool to help him to a Premier League promotion.
Even though Blackpool were unfortunately relegated last season, Adam did exceptionally well for his side, scoring 13 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions.
It was his performance for Blackpool last season that caught the eye of the top Premier League sides, which has increased his demand in the summer transfer window.
However, Blackpool have confirmed that there have been no official offers for the midfielder, which means that Adam could have to wait until the end of the transfer window to move to another club.
Connor Wickham
Kenny Dalglish is also keeping an eye on 18-year-old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 under-21 international Connor Wickham for a possible move to Anfield over the summer.
The Ipswich Town youngster has already been linked to a host of Premier League sides, mostly Tottenham Hotspur, who have made at least two official bids for the player.
Wickham fits perfectly with Dalglish’s vision for the club and his policy of encouraging young players, which is why Wickham is a top target for Liverpool.
After signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordan-Henderson-c19102 from Sunderland for an inflated value of an estimated £20 million, Dalglish is looking to continue his spending spree by buying Wickham.
However, Dalglish will most likely face competition from Sunderland, Tottenham Hotspur and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, with the Black Cats surprisingly favourites to sign the 18-year-old.
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has reportedly offered Ipswich Town £13 million for the young forward, which the Championship side have apparently accepted.
