it's really hard to choose between Carragher and Gerrard. they both are extremely good at what they do, also very loyal to the Merseyside team and its supporters. i really really can't choose . Jamie and Stevie are equally legend-calling-worthy in my opinion.

3 STEVEN GERRARD

-> One of the longest serving players

-> Captain since 2003

-> The main inspiration to the legendary 2005 Champions League final comeback against AC Milan

-> The scorer of the last-minute equalising goal in the yet another legendary 2006 FA Cup final against West Ham

With the highest respect to Hyypia, Owen, Fowler, Carragher and others unmentioned, Gerrard's achievements are way much higher

EDIT: Fowler might be as legendary as Gerrard as I didnt really get to see him play in a Liverpool shirt but Gerrard is definitely the best Kop in recent years

As a neutral I will say:

Hyypia: His day is long gone but he has been a great servant to your club!

Owen: Moving was a big mistake for him and one I'm sure he regrets big time!

Gerrard: He is a terrific player and one I do rate highly!

Fowler: Loyal and a great servant! BIG mistake coming back for a second spell both on his and Liverpools behalf!

Carragher: The Unsung hero in that team, does a tremendous job for Liverpool! They are far from the same team without him!!

BTW: Only reason he wouldn't get into the Utd team is because of Vidic and Ferdinand having such a good understanding and partnership! Otherwise he would be a shoe in!!!

I think they are all legends but I don't like they way that Michael Owen went to Madrid when we needed him I think he only went for the money

VERY close one, but Robbie Fowler in my opinion, closely followed by Jamie Carragher and Stevie. Then Hyppia and lastly Owen.

That would have to be Stevie G, without a doubt. The best midfielder in the league by far, possibly the world.

I'm not a Liverpool fan, but, Steven Gerrard is, and always will be a legend. He puts all of his effort in the game. He plays so well, and knows how to captain a team. Without him Liverpool wouldn't be the team they are today. And they most certainly wouldn't have beaten AC Milan in the Champions League 3 years ago.
