Liverpool giving Roy Hodgson three games to prove himself
Liverpool are currently rumored to be getting ready to replace Roy Hodgson as the manager of Liverpool, unless of course the manager gives them a reason to think otherwise. The team is currently lining up a move for Barcelona’s former manager Frank Rijkaard
as a possible replacement for Hodgson. This has come as a result of the new owners of the team starting to lose their patience with the manager, who just can’t seem to get anything right at the club.
However to be fair to the manager, the team is willing to give him as many as three games to prove a point to the board and if he manages to succeed at doing that, then he might just end up keeping his job.
The three games that Hodgson needs to get a maximum number of points against are, the matches against Aston Villa, Newcastle and Fulham. Nonetheless it is strongly believed that if the manager happens to lose a single one of those matches then he might be
axed before the Christmas break.
On the other hand, Frank Rijkaard is sitting back and waiting for things to fall apart at Anfield so he can step in to take control of things at the club. The manager also recently forced himself to get sacked by Galtasaray near the end of October and is
currently just waiting to be picked up by a team.
So far this season, Liverpool have had a rather topsy turvey season. The team went on to draw their opening game with Arsenal, which proved to everyone that they might just have what it takes to do well in the league. However a couple of months later and
the team was struggling to even make it into the top half of the Premier League table. After closely analyzing the teams performances, it has been pointed out by numerous experts the only reason the team is having any problems is due to bad management.
When the players happen to take to the pitch, they don’t seem to know what they need to do, or what they are on the pitch for. The players often get confused by the absurd substitutions and the squad selection and as a result the players feel out of place
and like the club has no future.
With even the players suffering the owners of the club have finally made it a point to make, that they are here to see the club do better in the future and as a result have presented Hodgson with the ultimatum.
