Liverpool has scored 4 goals against the teams they played so far & it's only the pre-season. What do u think?

I think all teams playing us whould provide their players with umbrellas cause it's gonna be raining goals.

They were still a top 4 team a few years ago when they were pretty much a 1 man team (cough gerrard).

Now they have torres and keane and a few other players starting to play they should close the gap.

I think chelsea and liverpool will improve on last season, Chelsea will win the league but i think liverpool and man utd will go to the last day of the season for 2nd place.

Arsenal may even drop out of the top 4.

i think its too early to pinpoint that in every match that will follow this season liverpool will score so many goals

its harder to score in the premiership cause a lot of the teams have powerful defenses and in the pre-season they dont really care about how much they will get beaten whereas in the premiership even the number of goals matters

calm dawn it's just pre season some teams have not been organized that good, and Liverpool are doing just as good as and other big team out there.

For Example Milan lost to Chelsea 5 to 0, but that doesn't mean chelsea have become beasts it just means Milan didn't play thier more favorite players.

If Liverpool have gotten better like you said, then We will sea in two weeks.

I think you wont finish higher than Manchester United or Chelsea and possibly Arsenal.

Pre-season is not the time to judge teams as managers use it to experiment rather than to win.

I think there's definitley been an improvment in the shape of the squad.

Of course it's only pre-season but I'd rather a good confidence boost that the distractions that the other big clubs have had.

  

Keane is a busy player and also a handful.He will hopefully run the defences ragged and it's not they can take their eyes of Torres.

Barry would also be a good contribution.

It wouldn't suprise me if one or more of the top four make a huge signing though, I think they all need a bit of a boost.

What do I think about it?I think that it's the pre-season,and no one takes pre-season friendlies seriously,especially when their not playing against the best team,and thus have nothing to prove.

Yep, it's one way of raising hopes for its fans before another season of heartache, disappointment and no major trophies.

I don't think you should draw too many conclusions from pre-season friendlies but it does give cause for cautious optimism.

We have dropped too many points in recent years where we were the better team but lacked the firepower. This was paricularly true in matches against Man Utd (one when Neville scored and another where O'Shea got the goal) we were by far the better team.

The two friendlies suggest that we now have the firepower and I am looking forward to the new season with high hopes

To be fair, in a competitive match wit ha full Rangers team, you wouldnt have won at Ibrox, let alone get 4 goals.

The reason you scored 3 goals in the second half was a mix of our poor reserve team and that we missed our captain whom we cant seem to win without.

For all it matters though i hope you win the league, and think you have a chance.

You conveniently seemed to have forgotten about the 0-0 draws with Hertha Berlin (I think it was them) and Villarreal.

I say we're up for a very entertaining season. Yep from Keane, Torres, Gerrard, Babel and Kuyt there will be a storm in every match. The other teams wont have umbrellas' cause they will underestimate Liverpool.
