Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be interested in the young midfielder, who has been very impressive this season. He is a versatile player who can handle a number of different roles in midfield. Despite various
offers from European clubs Sissoko chose to stay at Toulouse.
The Frenchman insisted he wished to stay with the Ligue 1 side, he said while speaking to reporters, “I had contacts with English clubs, notably Liverpool, but I preferred to commit myself to Toulouse, the club where I have been educated, to get more experience.
It is up to me to go on improving, to become a world-class player.”

Mark van Bommel to possibly leave AC Milan
Mark Bommel’s agent has hinted the Dutchman could be leaving AC Milan in the near future, having failed to agree on a new contract with the Serie A side. The 33-year-old joined the Italian giants on a short term deal in January from Bayern Munchen but has
not been able to make an impact on the team.
The players agent confirmed in a statement, “For next year there is nothing certain yet. But if Milan decide to keep Mark, then we will remain here.” Van Bommel was previously being chased by Premier League sides Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham.
