Liverpool interested in PSV duo & AC Milan looking to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Premier League club, Liverpool are believed to be showing interest in singing the PSV Eindhoven striker Ola Toivonen. The Swedish international has been in good goal scoring form this season, already scoring 5 goals for the Dutch club in the first 2 games this season.
A spokesman from PSV said that Liverpool have been in touch with them regarding Toivonen, he added that still there has been no official word from the club regarding an offer.
Liverpool recently sold goal keeper Diego Cavalieri to Cesena, and are also believed to be enquiring about the PSV left-back Carlos Salcido. The 30 year old Salcido has been a regular feature for Mexican national team and represented his country with distinction in the World Cup in South Africa.  The spokesman from PSV went on to say that, Liverpool have been in talks about both players and there is still time for the transfer window to end, so there is still a possibility of the deal going through.
The more likely of the 2 players making his way to Anfield is Toivonen. Liverpool manager, Roy Hodgson has been looking to add to his attacking options, with Ryan Babel also believed to be on his way out of Liverpool. Toivonen has been a regular goal scorer for Orgryte and Malmo in Sweden after which he made a move to Dutch football and joined PSV.  The former Dutch champions have been in scintillating form this season, and Toivonen has been at the forefront of their attack this season with 5 goals.
The young striker is also a regular starter for Sweden and in his last appearance for his country scored a goal in the 3-0 win against Scotland. For now the only hurdle in the transfer seems to be the estimated value of the player. Liverpool is believed to be offering 10 million pounds for the striker, where as PSV have estimated the player to be worth 15 million pounds at least.
Meanwhile another Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is also the topic of dicussion regarding a move away from the Spanish Champions Barcelona. Adriano Galliani, the vice-president of AC Milan said that he will be holding talks with Barcelona for a possible move for the former Inter Milan man.
Milan had earlier made efforts to sign the out of form striker at Barcelona, but the price tag on him was believed to be out of their range at the time. Gilliani, however says that this may be the right time for them to bring Zlatan back to San Siro.
He said that negotiations on the backend have been under way with Barcelona, but he will travel to Spain on Wednesday to meet Barcelona's President Sandro Rosell, and expects positive outcome from the meeting. He added though that financial aspect of the deal is yet to be discussed, and they may act as a stumbling block in the deal.
Ibrahimovic made his way to Barcelona last summer in a swap move, that saw Barca’s African striker Sameul Eto go the other way. Barcelona paid Inter Milan 46 million Euros, plus Eto’o, and he was expected to be at the forefront of Guardiola’s plans. However things did not work out well for Zlatan in Spain. After scoring in his first outing for the Catalans his form faded away and could not get a regular starting berth in the team.
Barcelona till now have maintained that they would like to keep Ibrahimovic, but if a lucrative deal does come through from AC Milan the deal may go through.
