Liverpool looking to bring back player who they rejected, Alberto Aquilani
Liverpool are currently looking to go back on their lost player, the man who they sent to Juventus on a season long loan deal, Alberto Aquilani. With the midfield seeing more and more problems in time the Reds are looking to reacquire the services of the
Italian.
Juventus were scheduled to extend the loan deal that Aquilani is on at the moment, so that the player would see out the course of the whole season. However Liverpool are looking to go back on their word as they are looking to bring back the midfielder in
January.
The player who has finally started to play at his true potential and as a result has even gotten a call up back into the national side, might have to make the dreaded trip back to Anfield where it was believed his career would go to the ruins.
The player has so far formed a lethal midfield partnership with Felipe Melo at the Italian club and has been one of the best players on the team so far this season. His passing has been back to its best and he looks to be amongst the best in the world at
what he does once again.
The Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson stated that the only reason that he allowed Aquilani to leave the team was so that he could reach his true potential and eventually make a return to Liverpool. Having noticed that the player has done just that, the manager
is looking to swoop in and bring the player back.
Roy Hodgson is quoted to have said: “It would certainly be what he needs, it would certainly protect the value of the player and when he does return to Liverpool no doubt we will see the Aquilani that we signed before he came here injured last year.”
Despite the initial agreement stating that the loan would be a season-long one and at the end of the duration of the loan Juventus would have the option to land the player for thirteen million pounds. However it seems like that may not be the case anymore
since Liverpool are looking to turn their back on the promise that they initially made.
