Liverpool looking to land Gervinho
It has been reported that Liverpool are currently leading the race to land Ivorian international Gervinho at the turn of the New Year.
Liverpool have targeted their interest in the Lille player and are now looking to launch an official bid for the player in the region of twelve and a half million Euros.
The French team were initially rumored to be asking for around fifteen to sixteen million Euros for the player, however, it seems that the good history between the two teams might just prove to be the deciding factor in this transfer. In fact, according
to most experts the relationship that the two sides have developed over the years might in fact help this deal go through at a much lower rate than initially estimated.
Roy Hodgson had been reported to be looking for a number of attacking options for the team, which could help boost the team’s attack. However, it seems like Gervinho who has managed to already score seven goals so far this season and helped set up another
five, might just be the player to do so at Anfield come the New Year.
It was previously reported that Aston Villa were close to landing the twenty three year old forward however, with the current state of things at both the clubs, it would be a smarter decision for the player to opt to move to Liverpool instead. The player
has already expressed his interest in the past to play in the Premier League and if a team like Liverpool are to offer him just that, then it is safe to say he would bounce at the opportunity to do so.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gervinho-c14755 can play as either a striker, or a pacy winger. This diversity to his style of play make him the perfect fit for Liverpool, who often tend to look at their strikers to help provide some attacks down the flanks. All in all, almost every expert is
currently looking at this move to be one that could go down as the best of the season. However, all of that can only be proven to be true, if the player does sign for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 this coming month.
