Liverpool looking to land Niko Kranjcar for Charlie Adam’s role
According to some reports, Liverpool are looking to line up Tottenham Hotspurs out-of-favour midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Niko-Kranjcar-c27926. However, the team is only going to make a bid for the Croatian footballer, if their efforts to land Charlie Adam prove to be fruitless.
It had previously been reported that the likes of Werder Bremen were interested in the Kranjcar, but the player has gone on to admit that he would rather continue playing in the Premier League. As a result http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 have now become the favourites to land
the player, while at the same time it also seems like the player wouldn’t mind playing at Anfield himself.
However, Liverpool still have Blackpool’s Charlie Adam as their primary target. The team has been pursuing the player for the last three months, but with Ian Holloway considering Liverpool to be somewhat of a joke, a move for the player to Anfield has started
to seem quite unlikely. Nonetheless, Liverpool are determined to land the player and are willing to go all out in order to capture his signature.
On the other hand, the team is not looking to put all their eggs in one basket and are well aware of the fact that the chances of Adam joining the Reds are slim. As a result, they are looking to line-up Kranjcar as their primary alternative to Adam.
If Liverpool are to land Kranjcar, then they are bound to save a considerable amount of money on the transfer of the player as well. This is because Adam is currently being valued at around twelve million pounds by Blackpool, but if they are to land Kranjcar
then they could buy him for nearly half of that.
Both Adam and Kranjcar are well established players in the Premier League, who have more than ample experience of playing football at the highest level. Keeping that in mind, while thinking about the current weakened midfield, one can easily see how the
addition of either one of the players could be a positive push in the right direction for Liverpool and a key factor for saving their season.
