Liverpool looking to land Ricky Van Wolfswinkel
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ricky-van-Wolfswinkel-c31131. The team is reported to now be looking to bring the player in as early as January, despite of previously having hinted that they were looking
to land the player in the summers, at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has proven to be a revelation in the Dutch Eredivisie so far this season and has gone on to score a whopping eleven goals over the course of the season so far. What makes this feat all the more impressive is the fact that those eleven goals
contribute to over a third of the goals that have been scored by Utrecht this season. Wolfswinkel even managed to get his career of to a sensational start, after he went on to score a hat trick in the first game that he played for the team and ever since then
he has not managed to look back even once.
Wolfswinkel also has a great physical presence. He stands six feet one inches tall and knows how to use his body to his advantage in a match. He has often proven to be a fish that is too big for the small pond at Utrecht, despite the fact that he only recently
joined the team.
He was previously rumoured to be looking to make a move to the likes of AC Milan; however they have since then turned their attention elsewhere. According to most experts, Liverpool can land their man for as much as ten million pounds, if they play their
cards right.
Wolfswinkel, has often in the past been compared to the likes of Rudd Van Nisterlrooy, who has proven to almost never have a problem to finding the back of the net. The young striker could prove to be just the player that the team needed, to help provide
the cutting edge that they need in front of goal. Along with that, he could also go on to help provide http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 with the support that he needs in front of the goal, to try and pick his form up once again.
All in all this is a move that could be just what the striker needs to step up his career another step, while it could also prove to be the move that Liverpool need to try and save their career from utter humiliation.
