Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish and owner John Henry to sign Ajax striker Luis Suarez (Part 2)
This season http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 has been dogged with burden he alone cannot wield. The Spanish international is the only player at Liverpool who has to lead the attack as well as finish it. Fans, players, managers and critics have
been commenting since long on his situation and the need to have a shadow striker or attacking midfielder to assist him, but no clear initiative has been taken for him until now.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 via free transfer, but the 28-year-old happened to be a big flunk at Liverpool. Red cards, injuries and poor form have troubled him since the start, making his future unclear with the club.
Now, Luis Suarez is expected to fill in this void and become the new man upfront for Liverpool. However, amidst all this chaos a London club that seems to be edging away all other clubs with stunning performances has been greedily
eyeing Suarez for some time now.
Just like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, Tottenham Hotspur too have declared interest in signing Luis for a few months now. The club led by manager Harry Redknapp continues to increase form and to keep that rate going they want to sign in the Uruguayan
striker.
It has been a while since Spurs entered in contention for Suarez hence they will be looking to steal the forward away from Reds with higher bids. Nevertheless, experts are siding with Liverpool on this one expecting the former
great to deliver a knockout punch to the underdogs. It is speculated Suarez will be with a red jersey before the end of this transfer window.
From Liverpool, the Dutch international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Babel-c31971 will be departing hence making space for Suarez. The out of favour striker has been lacking the final touch for some time now. This along with the recent Twitter controversies
has made him the most likely candidate for a departure.
Currently, Babel is being linked with a move to the German Bundesliga. Hamburg, Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen have all reported interest in signing the player, but there is another surprising development that may change all of this.
As known, the Dutch league does prefer players from their national team. Rafael van der Vaart is a prime example of that saga. However, in Babel’s case Ajax might also be interested in a player plus cash transfer.
According the market value now, Babel is valued to be around 6 million Pounds. This leaves a question mark on the price tag of Suarez. While Liverpool have presented an offer of 15 million Pounds, Ajax have presented an amount
nearing 27 million Pounds. In the end it is expected the deal would be sealed somewhere between 20 and 25 million Pounds.
Among the many implications that this transfer deal may have, one would be the assistance Liverpool’s cornerstone in attack Fernando Torres will get. With a second hand to help, Torres is expected to be on rampage yet again as
an oiled goal-scoring machine.
This time however, Suarez too will be scoring goals. In his impressive career, the prodigy has scored 12 goals in 31 fixtures for Nacional, 17 goals in 37 fixtures for Groningen and 110 goals in 154 fixtures for Ajax.
With the arrival of Suarez at King Kenny’s Liverpool, Reds will be handed the perfect catalyst to rejuvenate their dismissive performances this season and reignite the winning spirit.
