Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish cautious over Steven Gerrard and Andy Carroll
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has claimed that he will not be utilising the services of Andy Carroll and Steven Gerrard for the second leg of their Europa League encounter against Sparta Prague on Thursday. The Reds boss is resting both players in order
to help them recover from their injuries.

his new club, and manager Kenny Dalglish says it will still be a while before he is ready for action.
There were reports that Gerrard would be featuring in Thursday’s Europa League clash, but those rumours have been dispelled by Dalglish. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 manager said, “As much as Steven would love to play and we'd love to have him, I think we've got to think
a bit longer term than just one game. But if he's fit and well, he'll come under consideration like everybody else.”
Andy Carroll has been sidelined for an extended period of time, but Dalglish remains optimistic that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international will make a full recovery ahead of schedule. The striker was originally slated to play against West Ham United in the Premier League,
but the Reds boss has decided to give Carroll a little more time to regain his fitness.
Dalglish said, “He's (Carroll) still got a bit to go before he'll be considered for a match, but he's probably a little bit ahead of schedule rather than behind schedule. It's great for him and it's great for us. He wants to get a game but obviously patience
is again a word that we need to adopt for him and for us."
Liverpool are currently preparing to host Sparta Prague in the second leg of their Europa League last-32 encounter at Anfield. The tie is evenly poised, after the first leg ended in a goalless draw.
