Liverpool’s defensive midfielder Christian Poulsen has revealed that he would be considering his future come the end of the current 2010-11 season.
Poulsen was brought to Anfield by Roy Hodgson who took over the managerial job at the club after the Reds’ UEFA Champions League winning coach Rafa Benitez was relieved of his duties due to the team’s poor performance.

Poulsen, since joining the club in 2010, has not been able to feature regularly in the starting line-up for the Reds and has only managed to appear 11 times in the League so far.
“At the end of the season, I will evaluate what to do about my future, there are many factors to take into consideration,” the 31-year-old added.
The Denmark international has also played for clubs like Juventus, Sevilla, Schalke 04 and Copenhagen before landing at Anfield. The defensive midfielder has not performed as was expected by Liverpool officials and fans. In fact, he has not had many first
team opportunities either.
However, Poulsen now seems happy at the club following the chances Liverpool’s new boss Kenny Dalglish has given him.
“I am happy here, as is my family. I have the full support of the side,” Poulsen added.
There are reports suggesting that the he has been under the scanner of the Denmark based club FC Copenhagen and might get a bid at the end of the current season.
Poulsen was also associated with Copenhagen for two years from 2000 to 2002 and scored 10 goals in all competitions with the side from 45 appearances. His longest stint came while he was a part of Schalke 04. He spent four years at the club and appeared
111 times in all competitions. He also scored 3 goals in the process.
The midfielder has also managed to appear 81 times for the Denmark national team in which he scored 6 goals. He was also part of Denmark’s 2010 FIFA World Cup squad.
