Jay Spearing is hoping that the form his teammate, Andy Carroll has displayed in the past few matches carries on until the end of the season.
Liverpool have found a rich vein of form since their humiliating defeat at the hands of Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok stadium last week. The performance was so woeful from the Reds that Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish threatened to axe a number of players if they did not get their attitudes right.

Speaking about the match against Wolves, Spearing said, “Tonight he (Andy Carroll) showed exactly what he is capable of doing for his club. Hopefully he can carry on and keep doing that until the end of the season.”
Commenting on the striker’s strengths, Spearing added, “Andy can cause all sorts of problems in the air but he’s also great with his feet as you’ve seen with some of the turns he does and his finish for that goal.”
